In the latest announcement of shake ups to the New York Fashion Week calendar, Tom Ford has announced he will be showing menswear this season for New York Fashion Week: Men's. Ford has been known to constantly tweak his approach to Fashion Month since he launched his women's ready-to-wear collection in 2010. He's done everything from show presentations at London make a triumphant arrival in New York.
Ford's menswear show is set to show on February 6, while the time has not yet been announced. This season New York Fashion Week: Men's has combined with women's to create what is essentially ten days straight of New York Fashion Week.
Prior to this coming season, Ford showed his last menswear collection at Milan Men's Fashion Week. He most recently showed in New York at New York Fashion Week in September, debuting his spring/summer 2018 womenswear collection. Ford will be a welcome addition to the men's calendar, despite it being shortened to only three days. His presence will add to the list of headlining acts including Todd Snyder, Hugo Boss and Raf Simons.photo: via Tomford.com
