The second season of Jabong Online Fashion Week (JOFW) aimed at encouraging young talent returned with offerings for the Spring/Summer season from February 11 to 17, 2015. Designers shortlisted to showcase during the fashion show include: Flirtatious by Aakriti Grover, Abhi Singh, Aesthetical Cubes, Jaya Misra, Jayati Goenka, Kanika Goyal, Lalit Sengar, Niharika Pandey, Niket Mishra, Poonam Bhagat, Preeti S Kapoor, Rahul Singh, Siddhartha Tytler, Sonia Jetleey, Sougat Paul and Nitya Bajaj. Along with catwalk events, the fashion gala hosts a market square area showcasing around 40 exclusive pop-up shops by labels like Pitaraah featuring Prerto, Ridhi Mehra, Raw Mango, Namrata Kumar and House of Sko.

Additionally, an exclusive preview show was held on February 11, 2015 at The Grand, New Delhi, wherein S/S 15 collection of the UK-based high street brand Dorothy Perkins was unveiled. The line will be available for purchase on Jabong.com. The company’s team from London showcased the latest offerings by brand at the special evening show. Created with textured materials like knits and crochet, the line features long dresses with A-line skirts, cropped trousers, chocolate brown suede shorts and jackets, oversized peasant blouses teamed with button front denim skirts and bell bottom jeans, felt hats, pink leather culottes and wide loose-fit trousers.

The collection under sports luxe segment offers 1990’s utility clothing inspired pieces created in clean simple lines. It includes minimal boxy, cropped jackets in a variety of fabrics and textures ranging from neoprene to sheer and mesh, sleek cigarette trousers and asymmetric tops and tunics.

Apart from fashion designers, JOFW will also hone skills of those specializing in various genres such as modelling, hair styling, make up and fashion photography. The second edition of the fashion show, organized in partnership with Times Now, Dorothy Perkins, Microsoft, Cosmopolitan, PayU Money, Taxi For Sure and Chic-a-thon was launched by Indian actress and former Miss Universe, Sushmita Sen.
