Oneofakind Baton Rouge Fashion Week Fires Up for Fourth Year

After three incredibly successful years, Oneofakind Baton Rouge Fashion Week (OBRFW) will continue on to its fourth season during the week of February 13-18, 2017. Oneofakind Baton Rouge Fashion Week is known to feature some of the most creative minds in the fashion industry.

Past fashion lines include garments made entirely out of balloons, designs painted on models’ skin, lines entirely created by crochet, and OBRFW founder Brandon Campbell’s powerful graphics featuring catchphrases by him and what he calls “Generation Me” for his iME brand. The event is also known to partner up with Visit Baton Rouge and Louisiana State University to showcase brand new talent, plus benefit local community groups. Those selected to present their fashion lines at Oneofakind Baton Rouge Fashion Week earn the opportunity to have their clothes viewed and evaluated by industry executives, journalists, and buyers.

OBRFW will have a change in venues, starting with its BIG Night fashion show that will now be held at Belle of Baton Rouge Casino & Hotel. With each year proving to be bigger than its predecessor, OBRFW is surrounded by anticipation and excitement.

“This is very exciting, because I feel at this time bringing people together in a form of entertainment through fashion would be what the city needs,” says Campbell. “It’s our mission to do our part to uplift the Baton Rouge community, celebrate its greatness, and give back in a way that will help so many people.”

Through OBRFW 4, Campbell says that the plan is to donate a portion of the profits to some of the families directly impacted by the recent flooding, including Rosalyn Cornelius, a Baton Rouge resident and Little Rock Fashion Week 2016 Model of the Year.
